I found this by accident and am a little disturbed that it looks exactly like the hero of the book I'm working on. I pinned a copy to my character notes. One of the girls in my writing group said 'he'd be handsome if not for the nose,' which is exactly the effect my character is supposed to emote. So, thanks for the help with the visuals!

dude, this leroux version of erik ROCKS!!!! It feels so dark and yet i can't help but feel sympathy for him. nice work on his face and the shadows and the texture

! i kinda wish they made the 2004 movie version phantom look like that!

POssibly the best depiction of the Leroux Erik I have seen. Not overdone in the deadness, but enough to give you the chills AND evoke sympathy.
